Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information we collect when you use our games and this website, and what we do with it. It applies to Ironic Thought Games, a part of Ironic Thought Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom.

The short version
We don't collect your personal information. Our games carry no ads and no third-party advertising, so there's no advertising network harvesting your data and nothing tracking you to sell you things. The detail is below.
Information our games collect
On your device
Ringdown stores your game progress, settings and scores on your device so the game works. This stays on your device.
Game Center
If you're signed into Apple's Game Center, the game uses it for leaderboards and achievements. Game Center is run by Apple, and your use of it is covered by Apple's own privacy policy. We can see leaderboard standings and achievement data associated with your Game Center profile, but we don't receive your Apple Account password or payment details.
Purchases
When you buy the full version, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card details. Apple may share anonymised or aggregated sales information with us.
Analytics & crash reporting
Ringdown includes anonymous analytics, provided by TelemetryDeck, so we can see how the game is actually played and improve it — which levels people find too hard, whether a feature gets used at all. What's sent is summary information about the game: which mode or campaign level was started and how it ended, scores grouped into broad bands, and whether the full version has been unlocked. What's never sent: your name, email address, Game Center name, contact details, location, or anything you type. TelemetryDeck stores no IP addresses, rounds timestamps to the nearest hour, and identifies a device only by an irreversible hashed ID that isn't linked to any account. None of this is used for advertising, and none of it is shared with advertising networks or data brokers. TelemetryDeck acts as our data processor and is based in Germany. You can switch analytics off at any time in the game's Settings, and it will then send nothing at all. The app contains no crash-reporting tools.
Information this website collects
Email signups
If you sign up on this website to be notified about a game, we store your email only to send you that notification (and, if you opt in, news about our other games). We won't sell it or pass it on, and every email we send will let you unsubscribe in one click. The Ringdown app itself has no signup of any kind and collects no email address or other personal data from you.
Website analytics
This website doesn't use any analytics or tracking tools. We don't run Google Analytics or any similar service, we set no advertising cookies, and nothing on the site profiles you or follows you across the web.
Children
Our games are suitable for a general audience, but they aren't aimed specifically at young children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.
Your rights
If you're in the UK or EU, data protection law gives you rights over your personal information — including the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@ironicthought.com.
Keeping your information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it. If you unsubscribe from our emails, we remove you from that list.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and post the new version here.
